AMA Announces 2012 UAB Marketing Scholarship Winner

The Birmingham Chapter of the American Marketing Association awarded its 2012 Harvey C. Smith Scholarship in Marketing at the UAB School of Business to Jonathan Compher. Jonathan is a senior with a 3.86 GPA who is also a member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and the Dean’s List. He will graduate in May with dual BS degrees in Industrial Distribution and Marketing.

Funds for the scholarship derive from the earnings of the Past Presidents Fund that was established and funded by the untiring efforts of Harvey Smith, a Founder and Past President of the Birmingham AMA Chapter. Jonathan will be recognized and honored at AMA’s next luncheon meeting to be held May 16 at the Harbert Center.
